Created by Long Island artist Jan Barrett, this striking one-of-a-kind ceramic heart combines rich color, delicate floral details, natural wood, and hand-worked copper to create a truly distinctive piece of wall art. The heart is finished in a gorgeous deep blue glaze, with natural variations ranging from ocean blue and teal to darker, earthy tones. Flowing across one side is an arrangement of individually detailed flowers and leaves, including larger white blossoms surrounded by smaller cream and golden-toned flowers. The botanical design creates a beautiful contrast against the rich blue background and gives the piece wonderful texture and dimension. What makes this heart especially unusual is the natural driftwood arrow that passes through the heart from side to side. Each end is finished with handcrafted ceramic arrow details decorated with coordinating flowers and leaves.
